Aderans Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshihiro Tsumura), which operates a global hair, beauty, and health wellness business, will hold an event from December 14th (Thursday) to December 17th (Sunday). We will be assisting in the production of wigs for tango singer Anna Saeki, who plays the lead role in the dramatic “MOMOJIRO” (screenplay/director: Yu Takanashi) scheduled to be performed at Tsukiji Honganji Budist Hall (Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
Our company supports the entertainment industry in the hair and wig fields and supports the success of shining women. Since 2010, we have been supporting tango singer and actress Anna Saeki, and she uses Fontaine wigs in a variety of situations, including concerts, stages, dramas, and public radio. In 2017, we also released a collaboration wig that was carefully selected with Mr. Saeki.
This time, I was in charge of producing the wig for the dramatic “MOMOJIRO” in which Mr. Saeki plays the leading role. “Leadical” refers to a stage that combines reading and musical, and you can enjoy readings, songs, and plays. This work depicts the aftermath of “Momotaro,” and the wig worn by Saeki was also inspired by “Momotaro,” with a matte black color and a modern men’s short cut to create a manly center-part short. This is the story of what happened to “Momotaro” that everyone knows. Momotaro became the village hero after defeating the demons and bringing back gold and silver treasures. However, due to the influence of evil authorities who approached him, things gradually changed. Momotaro’s younger brother, Momojiro, wants his older brother Momotaro to regain his good heart, so he decides to go with his former companions, a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant, to “exterminate the demons in his heart.”

Born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Asahikawa Tourism Ambassador. Debuted as a tango singer in 1987 after winning “Miss Sapporo”. Performances have been performed in 14 countries around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York and Theater Champs-Elysées in Paris. Selected as one of the “100 Japanese People Respected in the World” (Newsweek Japan Edition) and “20 People Who Contributed to Tango” (Argentina). On Argentina’s 200th anniversary, the first Japanese performance was held at the Golden Room in Buenos Aires.
