In Yokohama City, in order to realize “Yokohama, a city that opens up tomorrow,” the importance of human resources who have a
forward-looking and proactive attitude and can respond to
administrative needs that are becoming more diverse and complex is increasing year by year. Against this background, and in light of the growing competition for human resources among the national government, other local governments, and private companies, we will continue to review the recruitment examinations as we did last year.
These changes will make it easier for more people to take the exam, including those who aspire to be civil servants, those who are considering employment in the private sector, and those who are looking for a job change.

1. No need to prepare for civil service exam! SPI type test expansion The first round of examinations, such as the advanced technology implementation quota and the employment examination for working adults, will be changed to only the aptitude test (SPI3) (hereinafter referred to as SPI).
2. More opportunities to take the exam! Added examination for technical positions
Regarding the examinations for technical positions to be held in the spring, we will establish a new employment examination for working adults, with only SPI as the first examination.
