[December 7, 2023] Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa (Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, General Manager Kazuko Ogawa) will be holding Strawberry Sweets Buffet 2024 “Strawberry Sweet Voyage” ~A strawberry sweets journey around the world~ in 2024 The event will be held from Saturday, January 6th.

The season for strawberry sweets, which are popular every year, is here. The Strawberry Sweets Buffet 2024 will be held at “The Lobby Lounge” on the first floor of the main building, with the theme of “Strawberry Sweet Voyage” ~A strawberry sweets journey around the world~, and will use seasonal strawberries luxuriously. We offer sweets from various countries. Including the Japanese classic “Strawberry Shortcake”, “Strawberry Basque Cheese” which originated in the Basque region of Spain, the American “Brownie” with the scent of strawberries, and “Cannolo”, a crispy and fragrant traditional Italian confectionery filled with strawberry and ricotta cheese cream. This is a sweets buffet where you can experience the feeling of traveling around the world with strawberry sweets such as “Pavlova”, an Australian sweet with a new texture made of meringue, plenty of fresh cream and fresh berries. Additionally, during the event period, a special parfait limited to one per person will be available, with elaborate designs tailored to the season. During the Valentine’s season from January 6th (Saturday) to February 18th (Sunday), enjoy “Parfait Belgium” where you can fully enjoy Belgian chocolate and strawberries, and from February 23rd (Friday/holiday) to March 31st. (Sunday), there will be “Parfait Japonais” where you can enjoy the Japanese scent of cherry blossoms and strawberries, which symbolize spring in Japan, and from April 6th (Saturday) to May 6th
(Monday/Holiday), we will be heading to Paris, France, the capital of flowers. Inspired by this, we offer a “Parfait French” layered with strawberries marinated in rose jam, elderflower jelly, and strawberry cream for a floral finish. Please enjoy the gorgeous and photogenic sweets buffet made with strawberries to your heart’s content while thinking about the countries you would like to travel to.

Parfait Belgium – January 6th (Sat) – February 18th (Sun) –
A chocolate and fresh strawberry parfait made with Belgian chocolate, layered with brûlée, berry sauce, cacao crumble, cookies and cream. Enjoy the crispness of Fiantine Chocolat while feeling Belgium, known as a chocolate superpower.

Parfait Japonais – February 23rd (Friday/Holiday) – March 31st (Sunday) – A Japanese-style parfait with pale pink meringue cherry blossoms blooming on top of the matcha mousse, and the jelly, cream, and filling all have the scent of cherry blossoms. Limited to the cherry blossom season, which symbolizes spring in Japan.

Parfait French – April 6th (Sat) – May 6th (Monday/holiday) – A parfait that expresses Paris, France, the capital of flowers, layered with elegantly scented strawberries marinated in rose jam, elderflower jelly, yogurt mousse, and strawberry cream, and finished with a floral finish with cute pink strawberry macaroons and fresh strawberries.
