Initiatives for SDG “5. Achieve gender equality”
In this training, as part of our efforts to achieve SDG 5. Achieve Gender Equality, we invited Representative Noguchi, documentary filmmaker Hiroaki Matsuoka, and former female soccer player Mamie as guests. I invited you. More than 100 employees requested to
participate, and the event began with Mr. Matsuoka and Ms. Mamie sharing their personal experiences and life stories. I want them to be understood, faced, and known as “human beings,” rather than being confined to the framework of “LGBTQ people.” It was said. The frank talk had great implications for the participants, the GLOBALTREEGROUP employees. They listened intently, nodding their heads from time to time, actively exchanging opinions during group discussions, and engaged in question-and-answer sessions based on the content. It was a meaningful time to deepen our understanding of sexual diversity and gender.

What we think about our efforts at child treatment facilities At the GLOBALTREE Group, which pursues specialized treatment, we have a total of 134 so-called “professional staff” such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, clinical psychologists, and certified psychologists (April 1, 2023). (as of date). As the saying goes, no two children are the same. Our staff understands the challenges that match the child’s characteristics, creates a support plan tailored to the child’s developmental status, and proposes a completely custom-made treatment program.
In order to provide support for children with disabilities to take a step toward the future, we need a more inclusive society in children’s treatment facilities. We believe we are in an important position to reduce prejudice and discrimination and create an inclusive
environment, regardless of disability or gender. For children, we should be a third place for them, other than school or home. We will continue to carry out various initiatives in the hope that this place will be a place where everyone feels comfortable and where we can move forward together.
