Recochoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Toru Itabashi) will announce the ranking of Recochoku-related services (all 16 categories) on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
This ranking is based on the download ranking “RecoChoku Annual Ranking 2023” from the music distribution service developed by Recochoku, the subscription ranking “d Hits (R) powered by Recochoku (hereinafter referred to as d Hits) Annual Ranking 2023”, and “TOWER RECORDS MUSIC 2023″. It consists of a total of three rankings, “Annual Playback Ranking.”

In the Recochoku-related “Annual Ranking 2023”, YOASOBI won 8 crowns in all 16 categories of download and subscription. The artist category was dominated by YOASOBI and the song “Idol”. In addition, artists who colored the music scene in 2023 were ranked.

YOASOBI ranked first in the artist ranking in the download ranking “RecoChoku Annual Ranking 2023”. In addition, “Idol” ranked first in three categories: single ranking, high-resolution single ranking, and anime ranking. In the subscription ranking “d Hits Annual Ranking 2023”, we won the artist ranking, song play count ranking, “TOWER RECORDS MUSIC 2023 Annual Play Ranking” artist TOP 10, and song TOP 10. YOASOBI and “Idol” dominated the 2023 annual rankings, exceeding the 6th place in the first half rankings and 8th overall in the annual rankings. The eight awards are the highest ever in Recochoku’s rankings.
“Idol” is the opening theme song of the TV anime “Oshi no Ko”, and is a song created based on the novel “45510” written specifically for this song by one of the original authors, Aka Akasaka. Distribution began on April 12th (Wednesday), the start date.

[BE:FIRST takes second place in the download ranking! ]

BE:FIRST’s 4th single “Mainstream”, which was released in advance on September 11th (Monday), ranked 1st in the album ranking category in the download ranking “RecoChoku Annual Ranking 2023”. The 3rd single “Smile Again” ranked in 2nd place, dominating the top rankings. (*In Recochoku, single bundle purchases are counted as albums). “Smile Again” ranked first in the high-resolution album category for the first half of the year as well. BE:FIRST also ranked 5th in the artist ranking category.
In addition, in the subscription service, “TOWER RECORDS MUSIC 2023 Annual Ranking” ranked 5th in the top 10 artists, and “Smile Again” ranked 4th in the top 10 songs.

The 8-member new generation dance and vocal group MAZZEL has won first place in the new artist ranking category for the first half of the year in the download ranking “RecoChoku Annual Ranking 2023”! In addition, they achieved the first place for the first time in the new artist ranking of the newly established subscription ranking “TOWER RECORDS MUSIC 2023 Annual Playback Ranking”, achieving a second crown.
MAZZEL will release “MISSION”, the song for the final screening of the audition documentary program “MISSIONx2”, as a pre-debut song on Friday, March 31, 2023. Their debut single “Vivid” was released on May 17th (Wednesday), and pre-distribution began on May 8th (Monday), and has reached number 1 in the daily download single ranking.
