(hereinafter referred to as “NX Company”) and the Kyushu Regenerative Medicine Cell Culture Center. We would like to inform you that we have participated as a supervisor for the product “PRIVATE DR. STEM HAIR” (manufacturer SMV JAPAN Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “SMV”)) jointly developed by Kyushu Regenerative Medicine Center (hereinafter “Kyushu Regenerative Medicine Center”).
Regenerative medicine is a medical technology that utilizes the regenerative power of cells to restore damaged tissues and lost functions. Research and development is currently underway to apply this technology to treatments for diseases and injuries that have traditionally been difficult to treat. In addition, regenerative medicine is not only used to treat illnesses and injuries, but is also being applied to the beauty field.
The Kyushu Regenerative Medicine Center, which continues to be active on the front lines of regenerative medicine, has a large number of cultivators who have experience in cell processing of thousands of specimens, and cultivates and manages stem cells. It is one of the largest real cell processing facilities in Japan, equipped with technology and management systems that maintain high survival rates, and has a processing capacity of over 10,000 samples per year. NX is a company that provides travel services for members whose corporate message is “Travel makes everyone smile.” On the other hand, we are also working to provide more comfortable travel by improving QOL (Quality of Life).
NX is one of the first companies to focus on the use of regenerative medicine in the beauty field to improve QOL, and has developed this product based on feedback from regenerative medicine clinics in collaboration with Kyushu Regenerative Medicine Center, which has top-class cell culture technology and track record in Japan. The one I did was “Doctor’s Cosmetics.”
At our company, we are also very interested in the development, spread, and potential of hair care products that utilize regenerative medicine, and we are cooperating as supervisors based on the know-how we have cultivated through hair salon management and product development, including mod’s hair salon. The “Doctor’s Cosmetics” series product, born from the voices of clinics and hair salons, is the stem cell supernatant liquid hair care “PRIVATE DR. STEM HAIR.” “PRIVATE DR. STEM HAIR” is provided by the Kyushu Regenerative Medicine Center with stem cell supernatant fluid and manufactured by SMV.Currently, the production quantity of “PRIVATE DR. STEM HAIR” is limited. It is sold at “NX-RESORT-STORE,” an online store for members operated by NX.
As mentioned above, as manufacturing quantities are currently limited, we expect the impact on our consolidated business results for the current fiscal year to be minor. However, hair care products that utilize regenerative medicine have great potential, and we have high expectations for the development of products that differentiate our private brand products, which will improve our group’s performance over the medium to long term.
