For the first time, 10 Roombas served at the Kanda Myojin Shrine’s “Susu-Ome” festival, where the number of worshipers is increasing due to rising inbound demand and the use of the shrine as a filming location for dramas. This collaboration is based on the fact that Kanda Myojin Shrine is known as the “God of IT” as it has office districts such as Akihabara with Electric Town, Otemachi, and Nihonbashi in its shrine district, and iRobot Japan’s office is located in Kanda. This was made possible because of this connection. At Kanda Myojin Shrine, we hold a soot ceremony at the end of every year, and the shrine grounds are thoroughly cleaned, the altars are purged, and preparations for the New Year begin.

After that, the priest swept the soot from above, and the Roombas worked together to suck up the soot that fell on the floor.
