ProGrade Digital Incorporated has added three capacities of the GOLD series 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB to its CFexpress 4.0 Type B card lineup and released them on Amazon.co.jp. The tax-included prices are 27,800 yen, 60,800 yen, and 121,800 yen, which is a 3-5% premium over the current CFexpress 2.0 Type B GOLD card.
The CFexpress 4.0 Type B GOLD card is fully compliant with the PCIe Gen4-based CFexpress 4.0 standard, delivering up to 3400MB/s read speeds* up to 3000MB/s write speeds*2400MB/s sustained write speeds*. It is backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0, and when used with a CFexpress 2.0 compatible camera or card reader, it exhibits the same performance as a 3rd generation GOLD card.
Of the current CFexpress 2.0 GOLD card lineup, 512GB/1TB/2TB are no longer in production, while 128GB/256GB will continue to be sold.
