At “Ise Sea Paradise” in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, the popular events “Put Goma-chan on your lap” and the annual “Walrus High Pose (Happy New Year version)” are back as winter events! ! This is a limited event until January 8, 2024 (Monday). Even when it’s cold, why not experience the warmth of living creatures directly by interacting with them at zero distance?

The commemorative photo taken after the daily event “Walrus Walk Time” has been transformed into a Happy New Year version.
You can take a photo with the walruses while holding a very cute Happy New Year photo panel designed by the staff.
We recommend that you use the [Happy New Year] photos as they are as New Year’s cards.

“Put Goma-chan on your knees” was held as a Halloween event, but it was so popular that it has returned as a winter event.
This time’s lap pillow also features a [clear fan] that allows you to see Goma-chan’s lovely kissing face up close.
Please enjoy the cute faces of Goma-chan.
Because it’s getting colder this time of year, I think you can feel the warmth of Goma-chan even more.

1. Please post your ticket screen at the admission ticket counter 20 minutes before the experience start time.
After receiving the registration, we will give you a participation card for “Goma-chan wo Knee Pillow”.

2. Please bring your participation card and gather at the marine animal plaza (inside the enclosure in case of rain) by the time of the experience.

3. Enjoy Goma-chan’s cuteness.
*If you are late for the reception time or trial time, it will be treated as a cancellation.

Notes
・We will lend you an apron when you participate in the event, but your sleeves may get wet because you will be in close proximity to the animals. We recommend that participants come dressed in clothes that they don’t mind getting wet, and bring a towel and change of clothes. ・Please refrain from participating in shoes with heels or sandals as they may be slippery.
・As Goma-chan, who weighs several tens of kilograms, will be sitting on your lap, those with disabilities in their legs or hips, health concerns, or those who are pregnant are not allowed to participate. ・You cannot choose the individual harbor seal that will sit on your lap.
