On December 22nd and 23rd, 2023, we held an auction* of the “original plate” used in printing the cover of the picture book “Yasashii Kimochi” and its image NFT. This sale is by Web3 picture book author Emimori Woodcutter’s family. This project was carried out through a three-company collaboration with ZUKOUSHITU, Yamato Printing Paper Industries, and Daiwa Printing Paper Industries. The response from the start of the auction far exceeded expectations, and the item was ultimately sold for 0.5 ETH** (approximately 160,000 yen).

We wanted to change the common sense of “the origin of a work of art.” To that end, we teamed up with ZUKOUSHITU and decided to put together a wooden frame that brings out the charm of the “original” to the fullest and take on the challenge of auctioning it.
■What is the picture book “Easy Feelings”?
The photo is the cover of the book (colorable version). By coloring the book cover, you can make it your own one-of-a-kind picture book. A story where the main character, Ao-kun, searches for a way to become friends with his friends. This image is an illustration used in a picture book, and the owner of this image NFT is Mr. Core (X (Former Twitter username @coresi202208).

Web3 Community (TheMafiaAnimals With the warm support of TMA), we have prepared a total of 12.38 ETH* (approximately 2.8 million yen) through picture book illustration NFT auctions and crowdfunding between February and August 2023.

A portion of the proceeds from this auction will be donated as part of Web3 Creator Support. We will entrust the message of easy feelings, which is the message of the picture book “Yasashii Feelings,” to the next generation of picture book authors, reduce the burden of production costs, and support the production of picture books.
