Crowded with customers looking for “Okinawa soba” on New Year’s Eve! Okinawa Antenna Shop Ginza Washita Shop Year-end scenery

“Ginza Washita Shop Main Store” operated by Okinawa Prefectural Bussan Corporation (President: Toru Higa) moved to the Tokyo Transportation Center in front of Yurakucho Station and opened in February of this year. Every year, many customers come to the store at the end of the year and ask for Toshikoshi Soba.
At Ginza Washita Shop, we sell approximately 400 servings of Okinawa soba per day, but during the five-day period from December 27th to December 31st as the end of the year approaches, we sold approximately 2,000 servings, which is approximately five times the usual number. As a result, more and more people from Okinawa and those living in the Tokyo metropolitan area are enjoying New Year’s Eve with Okinawa Soba. As we approach the end of the year, which will be the first time since we moved, we are looking forward to serving our customers with lots of Okinawa soba.

The most popular is Okinawa soba (single meal type). Okinawa soba noodles come in a variety of variations depending on the region, such as basic medium-thick noodles, flat noodles, curly noodles that are easy to mix with soup stock, and round noodles that are common in Miyako Island and the Yaeyama Islands.
