On September 9, 2024, Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd. will release “Aisu no Mi – Grape Muscat”, which allows you to enjoy two flavors in one bag, from the long-selling brand “Aisu no Mi”, which is characterized by the rich flavor of tightly concentrated ingredients. It will go on sale nationwide from Monday.

“Aisu no Mi” is a long-selling brand that is loved for its rich flavor and is now celebrating its 39th anniversary since its release in 1986. We have decided to renew the core product of “Aisu no Mi” to a product that allows you to “enjoy two flavors in one bag,” and we will be releasing “Aisu no Mi – Grape Muscat” as the first item. . Each bag contains 6 grapes and 6 muscats, so this is a new type of ice cream that allows you to have both the fun of choosing and enjoying your favorite flavor. You can choose your favorite flavor, enjoy which one comes out, and eat it the way you like.

“Ice no Mi – Grape Muscat” uses a generous 80% fruit juice as before, and by adjusting the sweetness and acidity based on the balance of sugar and acid in fresh grapes. We have achieved a more juicy fruit flavor. We are also particular about the grapes we use, including Concord grape juice with a sugar content of 15 degrees or higher squeezed within 8 hours of harvesting, and Muscat grape juice from Muscat of Alexandria, Australia’s largest winery. I use fruit juice.

“Aisu no Mi” originally began with the idea that “if we could make bite-sized ice cream, we could create new ways to eat it and enjoy it.” In 1986, it was sold as “Candy Balls” in general stores. It has started. In 1989, the name was changed to “Aisu no Mi,” and since then, it has been enjoyed by many people as “ice cream with various flavors.”
Initially, there were four flavors in one box, but we realized that there would be flavors that we liked and flavors that we didn’t like. Therefore, in 2013, we made a major change in direction to “one flavor per bag” in order to meet the needs of “people who want to enjoy only their favorite flavors to the fullest.” As a result of being able to “enjoy your favorite flavors,” sales increased 3.1 times in the five years up to 2018.
However, we have received a lot of feedback from customers who know the joy of choosing ice cream from the past, asking us to bring back the ice cream that comes in a variety of varieties. Therefore, we have taken the best parts of past “Ice Fruits” and created “Two Flavors in One Bag” that offers both the “fun of choosing” and “enjoying your favorite flavor.” In the future, we will continue to develop products that will please our customers, with “2 flavors in 1 bag” as the new standard for “Isu no Mi.”
