Satofuru begins accepting donations from 4 new local governments on the “Reiwa 6 Typhoon No. 10 Emergency Relief Donation Site”

Emergency support donation site
will begin accepting donations from September 3rd in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Ebino City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Takachiho Town, and Yakushima Town, Kagoshima Prefecture. On this site, you can donate a specified amount in 1 yen increments from 1,000 yen to the listed local governments using the hometown tax donation system. Additionally, there will be no expenditures from local governments to Satofuru Co., Ltd. for this support, and Satofuru Co., Ltd. will bear the donation settlement fee, so the goodwill of donors will be directly passed on to local governments.
Typhoon No. 10 is extremely strong and is affecting a wide area. In Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, heavy rain washed away the earth on the city’s railway tracks, and trains were suspended for two days for restoration work. In Yakushima Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, a 3,000-year-old Yayoi cedar tree has been damaged due to strong rain and wind, and trees have been damaged near the route to the Jomon cedar tree, a symbol of Yakushima. Landslides have caused road closures, which has had a major impact on tourism. We hope that as many people as possible will support the recovery and reconstruction of the disaster-stricken areas.
