educational institutions to hold a free seminar to raise disaster prevention awareness
*~Local residents, university students, and high school students learn together about the Noto Peninsula Earthquake~*
* Toin Gakuen Educational Corporation (Yokohama City, Chairman: Shinichi Mizokami) is holding a “Disaster Prevention Volunteer Seminar”.
-Learning from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake-” will be held as a 3-day consecutive seminar from 14:00 to 16:00 on Saturday, September 28th, Saturday, October 12th, and Saturday, October 26th. We will invite instructors from Yokohama City Aoba Ward Office and the local shopping association cooperative association, and aim to provide students with the knowledge they need as disaster prevention volunteers as well as the skills to take action that will lead to evacuation centers and recovery support. *
This seminar is being held with the cooperation of the Yokohama City Aoba Ward Azamino Shopping Association, the Easy Town Azamino Executive Committee, and the sponsorship of the Yokohama City Aoba Ward Office. In September, which is Disaster Prevention Month, local residents and university and high school students studying there will learn together about local disaster prevention, and after attending the seminar, they plan to provide reconstruction support and volunteer work in Noto.
