When we conducted a survey of women in their 20s to 50s from all over the country asking, “How much do you spend on beauty treatment for skin management (photofacials, chemical peels, etc.) per month?”, we found that “less than 1,000 yen ” was the most common answer, at 71.4%. This was followed by “3,000 yen to less than 5,000 yen” at 6.1%, and “1,000 yen to less than 2,000 yen” at 5.9%.
Although there are many people who do not spend that much money on beauty care related to skin management, there are a certain number of people who spend as much as 50,000 yen or more.

Looking at the results by age group, the results show that the amount spent on skin care cosmetic treatments increases as the age group decreases.
Many people in their 20s are suffering from problems such as acne and rough skin due to hormonal imbalance, and it appears that they may be using aesthetic medicine to improve these problems. On the other hand, self-employed and independent workers, who fall into the high-spending category, seem to have a strong desire to invest in beauty, even though their income may fluctuate greatly. There is a high possibility that interpersonal relationships and self-image are directly connected to work, which may mean that they see value in beauty.
In this survey, more than half of the respondents said that they spend less than 1,000 yen per month on beauty care related to skin care, suggesting that many people limit their skin care to self-care.
