In order to make the people who want to work here a reality in nursing care settings, we are proactively reforming work styles and
introducing equipment that reduces work burdens.
Social Welfare Corporation Keiyo-kai believes that peace of mind among employees will lead to detailed care for residents, and we are working to improve employee treatment based on fair evaluation standards and improve operations to reduce mental and physical burden. We are actively moving forward.
* Aiming to be a workplace where mid-career hires can stay, and young people such as new graduates can stay for a long time *
According to the “FY2020 Nursing Care Work Situation Survey Results” by the Nursing Care Work Stability Center, a public interest incorporated foundation, 34.4% of caregivers have been employed for less than one year, and 25.5% have left their jobs after one year or more but less than three years of employment.
In particular, young employees are changing jobs early, which is very disappointing as someone involved in nursing care work.
At Keiyokai, we have many employees who have been with us for over 10 years. We believe that our efforts to create a comfortable working environment and improve treatment, rather than just trying to avoid frivolous behavior, have led to our high retention rate.
In addition to 120 days of annual leave, we have a high rate of paid leave, and when creating shifts, we accept requests for vacation as long as there are no overlaps, and we also accept requests for long-term vacation.
Additionally, in order to enhance our retirement benefits system, we have joined multiple mutual aid schemes to reduce the psychological anxiety of our employees.
As a result, we believe that this has led to an increase in the number of vacations that are not just for relaxing the mind and body, but for spending quality time, and that the way employees approach their work has changed. It also seems to increase their confidence in their work.
* Prioritize reducing the burden on staff. Promoting flexible work style reforms in line with the times*
We are focusing not only on improving the treatment of employees, but also on reducing the workload of employees.
The recently introduced ICT/monitoring equipment allows care staff to monitor the resident’s breathing rate, heart rate, sleep status, etc. in real time even when they are in a remote location. This greatly reduces the workload at the time of delivery, and is extremely useful for early detection of abnormalities.
We will continue to actively introduce new equipment that will lead to business improvements.
* An environment where it is easy to obtain nursing care
qualifications. I want to create a workplace where nursing care professionals can hone their skills*
As part of our education system, we provide on-the-job training (OJT) and support for acquiring qualifications for new employees.
We have created an environment where it is easy for new graduates and those changing jobs from other industries to obtain OJT and beginner training without worrying.
We support employees in acquiring qualifications by not only adjusting shifts to suit their training schedules, but also covering training costs, transportation costs, and exam fees by the company (burden rates vary depending on qualifications).
We have created an environment where you can work for a long time while working your way up, and by working for a long time, you can expect to be treated accordingly.
