(Taichiro) is pleased to announce that Nara Prefecture and 13 local governments (12 municipalities within the prefecture) have jointly procured electronic contract services and have decided to introduce the contract management platform “CloudSign(R)︎”. *
In addition, CloudSign(R)︎ has an adoption share of 70%* in local governments nationwide, and continues to promote the adoption of electronic contracts nationwide as the electronic contract service with the highest number* of electronic contract services introduced by local governments. I will continue to do so. (*) We conducted an in-house survey to compare the number of local governments that have decided to introduce the system after making a paid contract based on public recruitment, bidding, and proposal information published by local governments across the country. Thirteen local governments in Nara Prefecture will begin full-scale operation of CloudSign(R)︎ as part of DX promotion to improve convenience for the administration and residents. Operation is scheduled to begin in each local government in sequence from around October 2024.
In introducing CloudSign(R)︎, we aim to digitize all contract work that used to be done on paper or face-to-face, optimizing business operations and accelerating DX measures. By eliminating face-to-face work involving documents, it is expected to improve the efficiency and reduce costs of contract work for local governments and contracting parties.

From now on, each operating company will be able to choose to use CrowdSign(R)︎ for contract procedures with participating organizations in this joint procurement process online.
