Ghibli Park celebrates 2 years since opening in November, unveils new poster drawn by director Goro Miyazaki for the first time / “Autumn Dondoko Festival” to be held in November
Thanks to you, Ghibli Park will soon celebrate two years since its opening on November 1, 2022. To take this opportunity, we would like to introduce a new poster drawn by director Goro Miyazaki.
Additionally, this November, we will be holding the “Autumn Dondoko Festival” for the first time, with various events held every week at Ghibli Park and Expo Aichi Commemorative Park.

* First release of the new Ghibli Park poster drawn by director Goro Miyazaki * ▲New Ghibli Park poster released in September 2024 (C) Studio Ghibli The new poster, drawn by director Goro Miyazaki, features a “Sugoroku” design set in Ghibli Park and Expo Aichi Commemorative Park. We will visit 5 areas in order, starting from the Elevator Tower at Seishun no Oka and heading towards Dondokodo in Dondokomori. Pieces inspired by dice and characters from “Aya and the Witch” are also drawn and can be cut out and used. Roll the dice with your family, friends, or group and enjoy an experience like visiting Ghibli Park.

* ■Autumn Dondoko Festival will be held in November*
Ghibli Park will celebrate two years since its opening in November 2022. To show our gratitude, we will be holding the Autumn Dondoko Festival for the first time this November for a month at Ghibli Park and Expo Aichi Commemorative Park. We are planning various events where you can get familiar with Ghibli Park and Studio Ghibli’s works. Advance registration is required for each event of the Autumn Dondoko Festival (with some exceptions), but you can participate even without a ticket. Here we will introduce the dates and brief overview of each event. Details will be announced at a later date on the official Ghibli Park website.

You can enjoy Studio Ghibli works and music in Expo 2005 Aichi Memorial Park, where nature spreads out during the long autumn nights. This year, which is the third time since 2022, will be held in honor of the Witch’s Valley, which opened in March, and will feature “Aya and the Witch” (directed by Goro Miyazaki) on November 2nd, and “Howl’s Moving” on November 3rd. We present to you “Castle” (directed by Hayao Miyazaki).
Music artists will appear before each screening to liven up the atmosphere. Performers will be announced at a later date.

Co-host: Aichi Prefecture Urban Development Association When you wear special earphones, you can hear music and sound effects that are linked to the scene in front of you in the Ghibli Park area, its surroundings, and the park paths that connect the areas. This is an event where you can enjoy the world of Studio Ghibli works through the sounds while strolling through the park.

This workshop is perfect for the “autumn of art” and will be taught by the art directors of Studio Ghibli works. You can learn directly how to draw animation background art.

* Mononoke no Sato 1st anniversary commemorates Nagakute “Keigo Festival” gun squad arrives*
[Date] November 10th (Sunday) Planning and management: Nagakute City, Nagakute City Tourism Exchange Association
From the Nagakute Keigo Festival held every fall in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture, where Ghibli Park is located, gun troopers and others visit the Mononoke no Sato area and perform matchlock gun demonstrations as well as perform the folk art of “Bonoke no Sato”. Hands will be shown. Please take a look at the traditional techniques performed in front of the characteristic satoyama landscape of “Mononoke no Sato”.
*Contents may change depending on circumstances. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.

During this year’s “Aichi Week,” we took a long walk in the mountains behind “Dondoko Mori.” You can find nuts such as acorns and make original souvenirs in front of “Satsuki and Mei’s House.”
*”Aichi Week” refers to the week that includes “Aichi Prefectural Citizen’s Day” on November 27th, from November 21st (Thursday) to November 27th (Wednesday). This event will be held on some of those dates.
*Applications will be accepted on the day. Even if you do not have a Ghibli Park ticket, you can still participate.

“* Ghibli Park University* (oh) * Stroll ticket*
” is a ticket that allows you to enter 5 areas and play all day. Tickets are on sale until October (as of Thursday, September 5th). The price is 3,500 yen for adults and 1,750 yen for children (4 years old to elementary school students) on weekdays, and 4,000 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. *Free for children under 3 years old.
*A system usage fee of 110 yen will be charged for each ticket. *Please select the designated entry time for Ghibli’s large warehouse when making reservations and purchases.
Other ticket options include the “Ghibli Park Large Walk Ticket Premium” and the “Ghibli Park Walk Ticket”, which goes on sale at 5:00 p.m. seven days before admission.
