Last year’s “Buri Shabu Set” made from Shiranuka-cho, Hokkaido’s brand “Gokukan Buri (TM)” was very popular. The key point this year is that a special soup for Shime’s ramen will be added to the set, using soup stock taken from the ara of “Gokukan Buri (TM)”. After making many prototypes, we have finally created a soup that has the aroma, flavor, and richness of yellowtail. With this soup, you can enjoy every last bit of the deliciousness of the cold weather. Also, the hook part will be commercialized this year as well as last year. We use the latest special freezing technology to flash-freeze the fresh yellowtail yellowtail, so it is extremely fresh and delicious. In Shiranuka Town, located in eastern Hokkaido, the catch of salmon, which was the main source of income, is decreasing, and the catch of yellowtail is rapidly increasing. In order to utilize the abundant catch of yellowtail as a new marine resource for the town, we are working on branding and industrialization of yellowtail in
collaboration with the Shiranuka Fisheries Cooperative.
“Gokukan Yellowtail (TM)” is a natural yellowtail caught at the Shiranuka Fisheries Cooperative Association in Shiranuka-cho, Hokkaido, which is treated with on-board katsujime (blood
exsanguination) and weighs over 7 kilograms. Because it is caught in the cold waters of Hokkaido, it has a good fat content and is characterized by its fine marbling and firm flesh.
