By switching to remote work, I no longer have to commute to work, which is a huge benefit. I now have more time to prioritize my private life and can now enjoy my hobby of reading. I also have four cats, and being able to work while taking care of them has been very helpful. As a result, I have been able to spend more time at home, which has enabled me to communicate more smoothly with my neighbors and build good relationships with them.
I originally joined the company as a member of the promotion team (inside sales), but one day the leader of the team I belonged to asked me if I was interested in a management position. To be honest, I was a little nervous, but I accepted the offer because I am a curious person and believe that starting something new can be a lot of fun. Also, I had a lot of respect for the leader who approached me, and I may have been happy that someone who was able to do such a good job asked me to do it.
What I feel has changed most since becoming a leader is that I have now been able to focus on more areas. When I was in a player role, it was important for me to learn and connect it to results, but in a leader position, I needed to think about how everyone could achieve results.
Honestly, sometimes I feel like my head is going to explode because my work has completely changed. The only thing I feel is that the support from other teams and departments is generous. They respond quickly, help me, and always help me.
