On September 17th (Tuesday), “Mid-Autumn Harvest Moon,” “Outside Stairs Walk,” “Special Light-up,” and “Tokyo Tower Bamboo Light Festival” will be held simultaneously.
[“Dumplings” and “pampas grass” decorated on the landing of the outside stairs] “Otsukimi Outer Stairs Walk” where you can enjoy the autumn breeze and the harvest moon while climbing the stairs. The 600-step outdoor staircase leading up to the 150m-high main deck will be open to the public until 9pm.
It is usually open to the public from 9:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and the “Open Air Outside Stairs Walk” where you can walk up to the observation deck (main deck) will be held in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Harvest Moon. Staircase Walk” will be open specially at night from 17:00 to 21:00 on Tuesday, September 17th.
“The Harvest Moon” is a traditional custom of viewing the moon on the night of August 15th (Jugoya) in the lunar calendar.This year, September 17th (Tuesday) will coincide with the Harvest Moon and the full moon. It will be a day.
