What is Sanpei soup?
A local Hokkaido dish made with salted fish such as salmon and vegetables such as carrots and daikon radish stewed together. There are two types: “Shio Sanpei,” which uses pollock seasoned with salt, and “Miso Sanpei,” which uses salt salmon seasoned with miso. We offer Miso Sanpei made with Hokkaido salmon!
