Hachikan
Hachikan, an inn in Ohara, Kyoto that is limited to one group per day (Ohara, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, Representative: Takahisa Matsushima), is selling a special accommodation plan to celebrate Respect for the Aged Day until September 16, 2024. It’s inside. You can reserve the whole house for yourself, so you can spend time together as a family, including grandparents, parents, and children, to show your gratitude.

“Why not take this opportunity to create wonderful memories with your whole family?”
How long will I be able to stay like this with my grandson?
With this special plan, grandfathers, grandmothers, and grandchildren can enjoy precious time together in the wonderful environment of Ohara, which is rich in nature. In the future, this precious family time will become increasingly limited. As your children grow older, you may start spending more time with friends and loved ones than with your family, and there may be fewer opportunities to travel together as a family. I think the time your family spends talking at the celebration to thank their grandparents will be an unforgettable memory for your child.

At “Hachikan”, you can completely reserve a house on the premises for exclusive use, so the whole family can enjoy a luxurious time together. We offer a special opportunity to deepen family bonds and carve precious moments into your heart as beautiful memories. Please take this opportunity to enjoy a blissful moment of natural beauty and heartwarming hospitality.

Promising “three things in order”
At Hachikan, we offer three services: SPA, tea ceremony, and meals. After being prepared with the hospitality of the five senses, you can open your heart with your sixth sense, which gives you a feeling similar to a state of mindfulness, and once you feel the energy of nature and the gods with your seventh sense, you are already in your own eighth sense. It is a space where you can meet your feelings. Our concept is to provide an environment that helps you feel a sense of well-being in an extraordinary space, and when you return to your daily life, you can experience a different version of yourself.

A private space allows you to share time with your family and have fun and lively conversations.

Hachikan main entrance
Hachikan entrance
We opened on March 31, 2023 as an inn “Hachikan”, which is limited to one guest per day, in Ohara, a “village of kindness” dotted with the nature of Satoyama, an inn in Kyoto.
The main building is a pure Japanese-style building with a thatched roof that is said to be around 250 years old, a culturally valuable authentic tea room, and a garden that has been carefully crafted by craftsmen to every detail. I’m here.
You can enjoy the simplicity of Satoyama in Ohara, Kyoto, where Japan’s world-class cultural landscape and history are still alive today.

In addition, the detached accommodation building has been renovated into a modern Japanese luxury building, and has two types of saunas, a dry sauna and a steam sauna, and the second floor is a guest room floor that has been completely renovated into a modern Japanese style. There is also a living room and study, so it can be used for long-term stays.
It is also equipped with a mini-kitchen, refrigerator, and washing machine, making it suitable for long-term stays.
This is the perfect space for guests seeking a private and luxurious holiday style.

In addition to lodging, you can also use it for tea ceremonies, tea ceremonies, flower arranging events, engagement ceremonies and other celebrations, entertainment, and various seminars.
