Bungeishunju Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Shigeyuki Iikubo) will release “It’s Da Bomb” by Ponto Inoue today, September 10th (Tuesday). This work is the winner of the 31st Matsumoto Seicho Prize.

* ■ Collaboration paper with Disk Union has started distribution! * Hip-hop music is inseparable from graffiti in street culture. A collaboration project between music experts Disk Union and “It’s Da Bomb” has started!
A column in which author Ponto Inoue talks about his memories of Disc Union, a list of works selected by Mr. Inoue for a deeper
understanding of graffiti, and a selection of 4-disc discs that are perfect for ‘It’s Da Bomb’ selected by Disc Union staff. The paper will be distributed free of charge at Disc Union stores and other locations. (Planned to be rolled out sequentially from today onwards) This paper will be made available for download as a PDF from the Bungeishunju website at a later date.

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1994, 30 years old. Lives in Kawasaki City. Graduated from the Department of Cultural History, Faculty of Letters, Seijo University. He made his debut in 2024 by winning the 31st Matsumoto Seicho Award for “It’s Da Bomb”. Authors I admire include Kotaro Isaka, Shoji Shimada, Seicho Matsumoto, Shoji Yuki, Donald E. Westlake, and Lawrence Block. I like 70’s punk rock.
