Approximately 35% of people think they are consuming enough protein, and “I’m consuming enough protein.” It occurs in just under 50% of people in their 70s.
More than 20% of those who do not think they take it (total of “I don’t take it” and “I don’t take it much”), and over 30% of women in their teens to 30s each. It is higher than other tiers.
2. *Foods I consciously consume for protein intake*
The foods that I consciously consume to get protein (multiple answers allowed) are eggs, chicken, tofu, natto, yogurt, drinking yogurt, and pork, each of which accounts for around 30%.
Among those who said they were consuming enough protein, the top three foods were “chicken,” “pork,” and “tofu.”
3. *Products purchased for protein intake*
In the past year, the products purchased to intake protein (multiple answers allowed) were “salad chicken” at 11.1%, “protein
powder/tablets” at 8.6%, “high protein yogurt/drinking yogurt” and “balanced nutrition”. Food and protein: Bar type is around 7%. “Protein powder/tablets” is slightly more expensive for men in their 10s and 20s and women in their 10s and 30s. It was also the most common among those who answered that they were conscious of their protein intake.
