Edmont (Location: Iidabashi, Chiyoda-ku, General Manager: Hideaki Matsuda) will hold a special event called “Chestnut and Autumn Research” in October 2024, which will feature a variety of delicacies centered around chestnuts, a seasonal ingredient that reaches its peak in autumn. The event will be held on Sunday, May 27th at the banquet hall.

We use a luxurious brand of Japanese chestnuts, “Kasama Chestnuts” from Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan’s number one chestnut producing area, to create sweets such as cakes and Japanese sweets, including the classic Mont Blanc, as well as pork shoulder loin.
This is a one-day event where you can enjoy dishes and sweets made with chestnuts, such as roasted chestnut croute and chestnut rice. The executive chef, Hitoshi Iwasaki, created the cruise train “TRAIN SUITE”. Dishes using jumbo shiitake mushrooms and maitake mushrooms from Kasama, which I discovered while searching for ingredients along eastern Japan’s railway lines when I was the first executive chef of “Shiki-shima,” will also appear, allowing you to fully enjoy the taste of autumn. You can have it.
