Our largest hobby shop opens in Saitama Prefecture for the first time! Popular products such as trading cards, gunpla, and figures are available! There is a 40-seat trading card battle space. “Machi Chara” “Cocoon City Store” grand opening on September 20th (Friday)! *Hobby shop “Machi Chara” operated by Matching World Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) opened a new store in Cocoon City, Saitama City on September 20th. A popular shop in Akihabara will liven up Saitama’s hobby scene. *
“Machi Chara”, a hobby shop that has long lines even in Akihabara, is opening its first store in Saitama. We will enliven the hobby scene in Saitama.
Machi Chara Cocoon City store is our first store in Saitama Prefecture and boasts one of our largest sales floor areas.
The approximately 64 tsubo store handles a wide variety of products, including new and used trading cards, plastic models, figures, anime goods, lottery tickets, games, and collector’s items.
Additionally, the store has a trading card battle space (40 seats), which is a first for the store.
We also disseminate information on new and rare products via SNS, and plan events that parents and children can participate in. Machi Chara will continue to aim to create a store that customers can enjoy even more.
* What is the hobby shop “Machi Chara”? *
“Machi Chara” is a hobby shop operated by Matching World Co., Ltd. We handle a wide variety of products such as trading cards, plastic models, and hobby products.
As a local entertainment and hobby shop that creates a place for real contact between manufacturers and consumers, we will also contribute to the revitalization of the industry and region, leveraging our in-house merchandising lineup.
Currently, we have a total of 6 stores in Tokyo, Chiba, and now Cocoon City.

* Features of “Machi Chara Cocoon City Store” *
[1] This is our first store in Saitama Prefecture. This store also boasts the largest sales floor area of our store. At Cocoon City, a large shopping center, we will be developing a wide range of products by taking advantage of the large store area of approximately 64 tsubo.

2. We will hold a national tournament as well as a trading card store tournament.
For the first four days after opening, a Pokemon card tournament will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (*9/20 only at 4pm)
3. Strengthen the handling of new trading cards. We also purchase used items.
