In response to the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which was fully introduced in 2023, and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), which was officially adopted in 2024, companies are required to build sustainable value chains. Masu.

The first half of the seminar will focus on countermeasures against CBAM, with a detailed explanation of target products, reporting obligations, and actions to be taken during the transition period. The CSDDD, which will be explained in the second half, requires companies to conduct due diligence regarding human rights and the environment. This regulation requires companies to identify and address adverse human rights and environmental impacts across their value chains.
