Haseko Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Ikegami) In September 2024, Kazuo (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) began construction of its own factory (hereinafter referred to as the “Main Factory”) for the purpose of manufacturing inner floor PCa*1. Construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2025, with full-scale operation scheduled for October of the same year. This factory will be operated by our company and Itochu Marubeni Sumisho Techno Steel Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Tanaka)
Yasuhiro, hereinafter “MISTS”), Yamax Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, President and CEO: Taku Shigemori), Daikyo Construction Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, President and CEO: Mogi)
It is planned to be carried out by a management company jointly invested by four companies including Hiroyuki Hiroyuki.
In order to improve productivity and stabilize quality at condominium construction sites, our company has been converting components such as external staircases of board-shaped condominiums, columns and beams, and internal and external floors of tower condominiums*2 to PCa. We have been actively working on this. In the future, we plan to use PCa for the interior floors of board-shaped condominiums, and we anticipate a more stable supply of materials with the construction of this new factory. This factory is scheduled to manufacture internal floor PCa for over 3,000 units a year*3, and will be used at our condominium construction sites throughout the Kanto region. In the future, we plan to increase the production volume of internal floor PCa to over 5,000 units per year.
In order to respond to the reduction in labor, which is an issue in the construction industry, and to build a construction system in anticipation of an increase in the number of orders for condominium construction, we are expanding the adoption of industrialized construction methods, including the conversion of PCA components to construction sites. We will continue to realize further productivity improvements and work style reforms.
*1…PCa (precast concrete): A construction method in which building structures and components are manufactured in advance at a specialized factory, transported to the site, and assembled.
*2…Tower condominium: Condominium with 21 floors or more
*3…Reference) Out of the 26,785 condominium units supplied in the Tokyo metropolitan area in 2023, the number of condominium units we constructed in the metropolitan area was 8,494.
