We use Yamada Nishiki, which is carefully cultivated from the soil, as our sake rice to make the most of the complex and rich aroma of Kuheiji’s sake lees. Cacao Barry’s Couverture, dark chocolate with a fruity aroma

* About KUHEIJI *
Founded in 1647. A long-established sake brewery that is currently in its 15th generation. In 1997, the Junmai Daiginjo “Joshijin Kuheiji” was born, and since 2002, they have only produced Junmai Ginjo and Junmai Daiginjo. Since traveling to France in 2006, he has been conducting sake awareness activities in Paris, believing that truly good products can transcend national boundaries, cultures, and genres, and Manjou Brewery’s sake has been awarded a 3-star rating in Paris. It is also served at restaurants. In 2010, they began growing their own rice in Kurodasho-cho, Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, and in 2015, they began cultivating their own rice, Omachi, which is suitable for sake brewing, in Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture.
In 2016, “DOMAINE” was held in Morey-Saint-Denis, a village in the Burgundy region of France.
We started cultivating grapes under the name KUHEIJI (Domaine Kuheiji) and released wines that we did everything from grape cultivation to brewing in-house. In 2020, we will open a Japanese sake brewery – Domaine in our own cultivation field in Kurodasho, Hyogo Prefecture. Kurodasho- has been newly established. Currently, as a brewery that handles everything from growing rice and grapes to brewing in-house, we continue to spread the word about new possibilities for sake and wine.
