Have fun with your children, such as the 600-year-old traditional culture of “Otouma” horseback riding in Kikuma-cho, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, and “Children’s Tatemae” where you and your children can assemble wooden slides on the spot. We offer hands-on activities that you can enjoy.

MATOI has many booths where you can try out original items using dyes from nuts, branches, and leaves, and take them home with you. The food booths will also feature wonderful shops in Shikoku, so you can enjoy famous shops loved by locals as well as delicious food, drinks, and sweets from Shikoku.

I work in the construction business in Toon City.
This is a workshop entitled “Children’s Tatemae” where you will work with a carpenter to build a slide without using any metal fittings. After assembling it, you can freely play with it as a toy.
On the day of the event, let’s gather at PLAY PARK and build a slide together with the carpenter!

Matoi / MATOI “Creating one-of-a-kind original items in the world using natural pigments”
Matoi is a project that connects “nature” and “everyday life” encountered through nature activities. We create products based on inspiration from nature. I work with the concept of “a life surrounded by nature” while tracing the appearance of nature and the time and memories that were there.
We will be holding a workshop where you can create original items by drawing patterns on cloth using dyes from nuts, branches, and leaves, and using brushes and brushes.
Colors taken from nature “mix, bleed, and rub together” as they dye while enjoying the visual changes.
Even small children can easily participate as all you need to do is use a brush or brush.
