Electric refuge “Denki no Evacuation Center” is a partnership between the foundation and local electric utilities. By providing eight disaster prevention devices free of charge, even if a power outage occurs in the event of a disaster, the local disaster prevention base secures a certain electric infrastructure and prevents local residents from being isolated from information. Eight disaster prevention items can be maintained free of charge. During the 2018 Hokkaido Iburi Eastern Earthquake and Typhoon No. 21, many households were isolated from information or made their lives inconvenient due to damage such as “ Cannot watch TV ” or “ Unable to use smartphone ” due to long-term blackout due to disaster Did. As one of the ways to mitigate such damage, the Foundation believes that it is important to secure the electrical infrastructure in public halls and meeting places that are close to local residents. Anyone can easily charge their electronic devices during a disaster. We have planned and implemented the “Denki no Evacuation Center” project where you can go. This project will be implemented only in Osaka, Hyogo and Okayama during this fiscal year. [Image 3
