Miyagi Prefecture Marumorimachi and Marumorimachi Entrepreneurship Support Center CULASTA (Operation: MAKOTO WILL Inc. Our town was not only deprived of precious people by the record tsunami due to typhoon 19 and flooding of rivers, but also collapsed houses and flooded floors due to debris flow, public civil engineering facilities and private business facilities and equipment, etc. As a result, enormous damage has occurred and the townspeople’s lives and the business management of private businesses have been greatly affected.

The Skill Shift initiative was introduced as a government growth strategy at the “City, People, and Work Creation Conference”, and there is an increasing trend to boost side-jobs and side-jobs in rural areas. When a job advertisement is issued at Skill Shift, 99.4% of the applications are submitted, and it can be expected to make a significant contribution to the lack of human resources in Marumorimachi.
