DIS was formed in 2010 by four members: Lauren Boyle, Solomon Chase, Marco Rosso, and David Toro. In addition to running the online magazine “DIS Magazine”, we have been using various media for activities such as work announcements, criticism, and curation. The 9th Berlin Biennale “Present in Drags” curated in 2016 and the exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and New Museum are attracting international attention.

Currently, the main focus of the activity has shifted to “”, a video streaming service based on the theme of “edutainment”, a new fusion of education and entertainment. We invite renowned artists and critics to redefine education through philosophy, technology, contemporary art, activism and culture. The activity has been consistent since its formation, and it can be said that it is a challenge to build a collaborative platform in the post-Internet era and to update contemporary art.
