The application of AI in the medical field is being studied in various applications. Above all, diagnosis assistance is taken up as one of the priority areas for promoting AI development in the field of health care defined by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. In the case of diagnostic assistance with CT and MRI, diagnostic assistance is performed using image recognition by AI on the medical image taken. However, in the case of displaying a moving image in real time at a medical examination site like an ultrasound examination apparatus, it is not possible to use the diagnostic assistance by AI. Therefore, Fixstars and Keio University School of Medicine have developed an analysis system that detects a tumor in real time for a moving image drawn by an ultrasound system. Deep-line learning is used for image recognition in this analysis system, and the tumor is recognized rapidly and accurately. In addition, by using the diagnosis data of breast cancer possessed by Keio University School of Medicine as learning data, medical examinations with higher accuracy can be performed. The analysis system reduces breast ultrasound findings and enables earlier detection and treatment of breast cancer.
