JAL has implemented code-sharing on the Kansai-Helsinki route, where Finnair, a European joint venture partner, will increase flights from the summer 2020 schedule (from March 29, 2020), and the
Sapporo-Helsinki route, which will operate all year round The JAL is a European joint venture with Finnair, British Airways and Iberia. Currently, Finnair operates 10 flights a week from Kansai during the summer season, and from the end of March 2020, AY67 / 68 will be increased twice a week. The Sapporo-Helsinki route, which was initially scheduled for winter only, will continue to operate during the summer season. By increasing Kansai and Sapporo all year round, Helsinki and access to various parts of Europe via Helsinki will be enhanced.
JAL will continue to take on new challenges in order to further improve convenience between Japan and Europe and allow customers to choose from.
