Alfa Romeo Food Project “Art of Taste” 3rd was shown as the opening event of “World Italian Cuisine Week”. A full-scale Italian-style aperitivo was presented, along with an exhibition of artworks that were expressed for the “food” cooked for this day and “photographs” taken from it.

FCA Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Pontus Hegstrom) is a cooking magazine that stimulates the antennas of food opinion leaders as part of the branding activities of “Alfa Romeo”. The third installment of “Art of Taste” is being carried out. “Art of Taste” is a tradition and advanced, design and originality, and passion. This is a project where you can enjoy the aesthetics of Alfa Romeo that shakes people’s five senses with food as a motif. This third edition was held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo as the opening event of the “World Italian Cuisine Week”.
At the venue, a creative food abstract art “COLORTASTE” created by chef Ii Hideki from Shirasaka, Akasaka, Tokyo, and Italian

This is the fourth year that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation promotes with related ministries, other public organizations, industry organizations and private companies to further disseminate Italian food culture. 2019 will be held from November 18 (Mon) to 24 (Sun).
An art project developed by photographer Alfonso Catalano. With the cooperation of top-notch star chefs, the taste of cuisine (TASTE) is visually expressed as art with rich COLOR. The chefs looked like a table with a backlight on the canvas and used cooking and ingredients to make it look like a painting. This creates a unique art work called “COLORTASTE” that blends taste and color.
Born in Tokyo in 1976. Trained at a Japanese restaurant in Tokyo and obtained a cook license and sommelier qualification. The first Japanese Sue chef at Tetsuya ’s, a famous store in Sydney. Later, in New York, I was appointed as the UN official ambassador’s official chef and went to the United States. After returning to Japan, opened Charcoal Fireplace Shirasaka in November 2014. It is a delicate dish that cherishes the heart of Japan, and continues to attract people from all over the world.
Born in 1967 in Burgund, Switzerland. In 1991, he took the first step as a photographer with the work “Il Giornale di Napoli”. Currently working as a member of the photo agency “SGP Stefano Guindani Photo”. Won the Venice Film Star Photo Award at the 61st Venice International Film Festival in 2004. Currently, he is developing his own art project “COLORTASTE” to explore the relationship between the taste of food and visual effects.
