Hankyu Hanshin Holdings and Hankyu Travel Co., Ltd. will hold an event called “Yume・Machi GLASS to HAPPY 2024 Fukushima Edition” to support Fukushima Prefecture as it aims to recover from natural disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake on Saturday, March 16th in Umeda, Osaka. It has been decided that the event will be held at the Hankyu Travel Company Grand Building Travel Center, and reservations for this event will begin on February 6th (Tuesday) on the Hankyu Travel Company website.

Furthermore, starting in 2021, we will be holding a course in collaboration with Hankyu Travel Co., Ltd.’s “Hankyu Tabikoto Juku”*2, a course themed around travel, history, and culture, in order to deepen understanding of the target area.
In order to further promote recovery, Fukushima Prefecture is actively communicating the high quality and deliciousness of its agricultural, forestry and fishery products, and is working to increase its brand power. This event will be held as an activity to promote understanding among consumers in the Kansai area. Specifically, we will have people from wineries and sake breweries in Fukushima Prefecture explain the appeal of wine and sake, and also introduce the appeal of sake culture to the reconstruction efforts of the Hamadori, Nakadori, and Aizu areas. We will talk about the current state of the prefecture. In addition to wine and sake tastings and local snack tastings, there will also be talk sessions and a quiz competition where you can win local specialties.
Through this event, participants will deepen their understanding of earthquake recovery by experiencing the charms of Fukushima Prefecture while having fun.In addition, by providing participants with an opportunity to travel to Fukushima Prefecture, further support for recovery will be provided.
