Edo Tokyo Museum 2020 Edo Tokyo Museum New Year Special Opening “New Year is going to Edo Expo”

Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Edo-Tokyo Museum, is working together with Tokyo to develop “Tokyo Tokyo FESTIVAL” to enhance Tokyo from the cultural aspect toward 2020, when the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held.
】 As part of the Tokyo Tokyo FESTIVAL, the 2020 Edo-Tokyo Museum New Year’s Special Opening “New Year is going to Edo Hiroshi” will be held.
Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, Edo-Tokyo Museum, Tokyo will open on January 2, 2020. (The 7th floor library and video library will open from Sunday, January 5)
In the permanent exhibition room, there will be a demonstration of the dream karakuri troupe, performance of lion dance, performance of koto and shakuhachi, experience of the beginning of a book, and a New Year’s party.
