The former brewing laboratory first factory (commonly referred to as the “Aka-brick brewing factory”), which was located at the Liquor Research Institute Tokyo Office, has been serving alcoholic brewing tests since the establishment of the laboratory in 1873. We have been active as a training factory for sake brewing classes. The building was designated as a national important cultural property in December 2014 as a valuable red brick building of the Meiji era *.
The old koji room where the projection mapping is projected uses a special brick called “white glaze brick”, and in Japan, this brick is used in two buildings: the main building of the Bank of Japan main building and the red brick brewing factory. Only is left.
