◆ With orthotic refugees Equipment Refugee means that users of equipment that has been damaged or has exceeded its useful life continue to use the equipment or are unable to use the equipment, without obtaining proper support.
◆ Portal system overview By using this system, the information is displayed on the website that is connected to the QR code attached to the prosthetic device (generic name for prosthetic limb, brace, and wheelchair). In addition to the type of prosthetic device, date of manufacture, manufacturer, etc. are displayed, and traceability of prosthetic device information is realized. We provide software for Windows that issues QR code labels for prosthetics manufacturers. When you purchase, you will receive an installation CD, a small label printer, and a tape, and you can immediately issue QR code labels for your products. In addition to providing traceability information as described above, for assistive device users, there is a “not one” tool that allows users to download the manual for the assistive device they use by logging in to the website.
◆ Future development At the “35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics”, which will be held this weekend in Sendai on July 13-14, 2019, this weekend, the project will be presented and at the same time the system sales will start. In October 2019, it will be launched overseas, with the participation of the 17th International Prosthetics and Orthotics Association (ISPO) World Congress, which will be held in Kobe.
◆ Thoughts on drafting a project Two companies share the desire that people who use prosthetics want to actively face the prosthetics that are a part of their bodies, instead of facing down with a feeling of being separated from the world The project started with the desire to assist the vendor’s support.
