This exhibition features an exhibition based on the results of research using the latest research and research methods, and exhibits a total of 43 mummies from South America, Egypt, Europe, Oceania and Japan.
Through this exhibition, we will deepen our understanding of mummies by understanding the realities and cultural and academic values of the mummies that have been revealed by the latest science and the people involved with the mummies. I hope it will be a chance to think. Please come and visit us!

The customers who participated in the 100,000th anniversary ceremony are Saori Yamaguchi (34) and Kamiko Mariko (56) who came from Kamagaya City, Chiba Prefecture. The two were presented with a souvenir from Kenichi Shinoda, Deputy Director of the National Science Museum and Director of the Humanities Research Department.
