A sweet potato festival from Shizuoka Prefecture that attracted more than 200,000 people in the Tokai region on Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd, 2024! will be held once again at Sunpu Castle Park. Potato Festival is already becoming a regular outdoor food event! However, this will be the first time this season that the event will be held in central Shizuoka Prefecture. “Mid-December is the time when the sweet potatoes harvested this year are about to start ripening.This is the time when you can enjoy both new and aged potatoes, so I think this is the most enjoyable time for sweet potato fans. I don’t think the weather has gotten that cold yet, so it might be the best time to enjoy an outdoor food event.
