Art&Arts LLC will hold “Musical Kohaku Uta Gassen 2023” at Nakameguro Try on Saturday, December 9, 2023. A mixed gender red and white group will be formed, with the red group performing musical numbers for female characters and the white group performing musical numbers for male characters. This is a hugely popular project, now in its fifth year, in which talented young actors bring out the charm of musical numbers to the fullest.
Art&Arts LLC will hold “Musical Kohaku Uta Gassen 2023” at Nakameguro Try on Saturday, December 9, 2023. In the Musical Kohaku Uta Gassen, eight musical actors are divided into red and white groups, and each performs a famous musical song sung by a female voice and a famous musical song sung by a male voice. This is a competition-style concert in which the winners of the red and white teams are determined by audience votes.

This is a hugely popular project, now in its 5th year, in which talented young actors form mixed male and female red and white groups to deliver the full charm of musical numbers.
The songs to be performed will include classic masterpieces such as “Miss Saigon” and “Wicked,” Disney musicals “Beauty and the Beast,” “Frozen,” and “Aladdin,” as well as popular songs from 2023. Songs are also selected from “Jekyll & Hyde,” “Anastasia,” “Ikiru,” and the new original musical “AI-WRI-EN (Alien).” The lineup is befitting the name of the Kohaku Uta Gassen that will mark the climax of 2023.
Continuing from last year, the cast includes energetic actors with hidden talent and future potential, ranging from up-and-coming new actors to young actors with experience performing on major stages such as the Shiki Theater Company, Toho Theater, and theme parks. Continuing the concept of highlighting the charm of musical numbers themselves, we are looking forward to your visit with the best performances.
As last year, the pianist will be Juna Nishi, who is active in a wide range of genres, and the MC will be Misuzu Kobayashi, a member of the Green Ray Saxophone Quartet, which has 50,000 YouTube subscribers and has toured nationwide. We will make the year-end festival the best in terms of accompaniment and talk.
