[About Wings for Life World Run]
Once a year, the Wings for Life World Run is held around the world. All participants will start at the same time worldwide and can run together on their personal favorite route or across several venues using the Wings for Life World Run app. Thirty minutes after the start, a virtual catcher car will pass the runners. The results will tell you not only the time and distance, but also your ranking in the world. In addition to the competitive appeal of running, it is also a fun running event where you can run in costume.
The most appealing thing about this event is that all runners, no matter what form or location, are connected for one purpose: to donate to spinal cord research. To date, the Wings for Life World Run has raised a total of 43.8 million euros, raised by 1,293,716 runners from 195 countries, all of which will be donated to research for a cure for spinal cord injuries.
