At Kenkoku BSS, an entrepreneurship school for people who want to start a business in the northern region of Ibaraki Prefecture, 10 students will present the results of their learning through seminars and business planning through summer training camps.

The “Kenhoku Business Start School (Kenhoku BSS)”, a business school for people starting new businesses in the northern part of Ibaraki Prefecture, has so far provided information on how to generate business ideas in the northern part of the prefecture, how to create cash points, and how to raise funds. I’ve learned how to do it. In the 7th session, entitled “Final Presentation,” we will present the results of what we learned through seminars and business planning at summer camp. The “Kenhoku BSS Final Presentation” will be distributed in a hybrid format at the Hitachi District Industrial Support Center from 14:00 on Sunday, December 17th. Currently conducting joint research with Ibaraki University in the field of generative AI. In the past, he has been involved in analysis of developing country relations for about 15 years at the World Bank Group, IFC, OECD, etc. Leads analytical projects in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Strengths include team management and analysis using data science methods. 2. Shunsuke Kanda

Born in 1984 in Hitachiomiya City. After working at an Internet advertising agency, he worked at a tech company that operated a video distribution business. The app I planned and developed as a product manager won the Google Play “Best of 2017” in the entertainment category. In 2021, upon the passing of his father, he retired, re-studyed at a vocational school, and attempted a career change to the housing field. From April 2023, he will become a member of the Ibaraki Prefecture Northern Entrepreneurial Regional Revitalization Cooperation Team, and will work to revitalize the local area by helping to renovate vacant parents’ homes and immigrant residents, as well as hosting market events and working on a citizen broadcasting station.
4. Yukie Saito

Born in Mie Prefecture in 2000. She has been disseminating beauty information for men for two years, and currently has a total of 50,000 followers. I joined the Ibaraki Prefecture North Entrepreneurial Regional Revitalization Cooperation Team in April because I wanted to use my knowledge of SNS to do work related to regional revitalization. Currently, we provide SNS operation support for everyone from companies to individuals.
6. Hikaru Shimada

Born in 1999, from Saitama Prefecture. At university, he researched how coffee dries up. I started my own business selling products online during my fourth year at university, and moved to the Philippines after graduating. Initially, they were not able to achieve the results they had hoped for, but after changing their base to Thailand, they established a business model of purchasing used clothing overseas and selling it in Japan. Currently, they only sell online, but as they have a strong desire to interact with customers, they are preparing to open a shop in Hitachi City that combines coffee and used clothing. 7. Miki Fukuchi (Vice President of Yachiyo Shoji Co.,

Born in Tokyo. Moved to Hitachi City in 2006.
She is in charge of new business at Yachiyo Shoji Co., Ltd., a lumber and housing material wholesaler founded in 1957 and of which her husband is the third-generation CEO. Became the leader of “Team Yachiyo Shoji” in the 2022 Kenboku BCP Ideathon and won the
prefectural governor’s award at the final report meeting. In September of the same year, she established SOSU Co., Ltd. with the desire to create employment for women in the northern region of the prefecture. Plans and operates Yachiyo Shoji’s new office building.
8. Yosuke Matsui

Born in 1980 in Sapporo, Hokkaido. After graduating from Osaka Abenotsuji Culinary School, he trained for five years at a restaurant in Tokyo. At the age of 25, I had a chance and worked as a secretary for a Diet member for a year. Worked as a manager at a restaurant in Tokyo until he was 28 years old, and then became independent. Since then, he has been involved in the management of restaurants, including his own. The coronavirus caused us to reevaluate our business, and we moved to the northern part of the prefecture as Project-E in September 2023. Currently working towards establishing a domestic prosciutto ham factory.

Studied yoga and philosophy during university, and after working at a publishing company in Tokyo, moved to Daigo Town. We are renovating an old thatched house that is over 150 years old and creating “Myoga no Sato, an old folk house inn for philosophizing.” Through
environmentally regenerative relationships with nature, thatched roof restoration, yoga classes, and other activities, we provide
“opportunities for individuals to renew their worldview.”

We invited Ms. Rinko Koyama of the NPO Public Mind to explain the characteristics of each financing method and the investment process for investors to the school’s students who are planning to start or expand a business. . It’s time to learn the importance of choosing a financing method that suits your situation!
Kenboku BSS 4th “Summer Training Camp” (held from 8/5 to 6)
Special summer training camp held at Hitachi District Industrial Support Center! Each student brushed up their business plan over two days. While thinking about personas, market size, and service content, he sometimes repeatedly challenges his mentors to organize his thoughts. The two-day training camp ended with a presentation while gradually brushing up on the business. They had a great time and deepened their interactions with each other.

We invited Mr. Yoshinori Koda of M&SUN to explain the mindset and flow necessary to conduct marketing that can differentiate us from other companies based on his own experience. The knowledge and actions I gained from my wide range of work experience were educational, regardless of industry.

We invited Mr. Kazuki Takano of Moteamas Sangenjaya, and the presentation by Mr. Takano, who is also a designer, was very interesting and everyone in the venue was fascinated. Mr. Takano believes that the value of presentations is “turning your ideas into everyone’s ideas.” To achieve this, he said that it is necessary to leave an impact that will remain in the memories of many people over the long term.
Through seminars and summer training camps, the school’s students have learned what it takes to start a business in the northern region of Ibaraki Prefecture from a variety of perspectives. At the final presentation, presentations will be made by 10 students and judged by 4 commentators, and the Prefectural Governor’s Award and Excellence Award will be presented.
Therefore, we are looking for viewers of the final presentation to support the future efforts of the school students. Please take a look at the results we have built over the past six months!
