We are pleased to announce that the 10 finalists who will be presenting at the final presentation of the contest “Tech Kids Grand Prix 2023” have been decided. The final presentation will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo on Sunday, February 25, 2024, to determine the No. 1 elementary school programmer in the country.

We have been holding the event every year since 2018 with the slogan “” and together with many supporting companies and organizations. This year, the sixth year of the competition, we received 7,391 entries from all over the country, approximately 1.4 times the number of applications last year. In “Tech Kids Grand Prix”, 47 prefectures nationwide are divided into six areas: Hokkaido Tohoku, Kanto, Chubu, Kinki, Chugoku-Shikoku, Kyushu-Okinawa, and each area will be held on January 13th (Saturday) and 14th (Sunday). We held the preliminaries and finals. From those winners, we selected 10 finalists to represent each area.

About the final presentation
At the final presentation to be held on February 25th (Sunday), judges from Cygames Inc., Facebook Japan Inc., Microsoft Japan Inc., Tokyu Corporation, and CyberAgent Inc. will participate and present the works of the 10 finalists. and judge presentations. One grand prize winner will receive a prize of 500,000 yen, with a total prize pool of 1 million yen. In addition, we also have a special award for sponsoring companies selected by each sponsoring company.
In addition, in collaboration with companies that provide programming learning tools and development environments, we will award special awards to particularly outstanding works developed using each tool. A total of three special awards will be presented: DeNA Co., Ltd.’s “Programming Seminar”, Unity Technologies Japan Co., Ltd.’s “Unity”, and Cureo Co., Ltd.’s “QUREO”.
The final presentation will be streamed live online and anyone can watch it for free.
Regarding TV Asahi’s cooperation
In addition to a total of 36 companies and organizations that sponsor and support the tournament, “Tech Kids Grand Prix 2023” will be joined by TV Asahi, Inc., and will cooperate in supporting the future programmers who will lead the next generation. I’ll enjoy having this. We will have the company’s announcer, Keiko Hisatomi, serve as the moderator for the final presentation of the final round, and will support us in spreading the word about Japan’s elementary school programmers who are masters of technology and their success to society at large.

About programming school “Tech Kids School”
Since our company was established in 2013, we have been operating a directly managed programming school for elementary school students called “Tech Kids School” https://techkidsschool.jp/school/. We systematically provide courses to learn from the basics of programming to full-fledged programming techniques, and every year we produce students who release iPhone apps and winners of various programming contests. In addition to holding the “Tech Kids Grand Prix” to determine the nation’s No. 1 elementary school programmer,
collaborating with a variety of companies and organizations, and supporting programming education in local and public schools, we are developing a multifaceted program.
In 2019, we established QUREO Co., Ltd. as a joint venture with SPRIX Co., Ltd., which operates an individual tutoring business, and launched the QUREO Programming Class, which provides unique teaching materials to cram school operators nationwide. https://qureo. jp/ has started operation. Currently, we have over 3,000 classrooms in 47 prefectures, and boast the largest number of programming classes for elementary school students in Japan (*). We provide full-fledged programming lessons all over the country for children who are beginners in programming.
