Calbee Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Makoto Ebara) has announced the launch of the popular caramel-flavored new product “Potato Chips Luxury Chocolat Caramel Salt Flavor” will be released for a limited time nationwide from Monday, February 12, 2024 (scheduled to end in late May 2024).

The “Potato Chips Luxury Chocolat” series is a fall/winter limited edition product that consists of thick-cut potato chips carefully topped with chocolate in a line. It has been on sale for a limited time every year since 2011, and since 2012 it has been available in a variety of flavors in addition to the regular “luxury chocolate.” With its addictive sweet-salty taste and luxurious packaging, it receives a lot of support every year, mainly from women in their 30s and 40s who love chocolate.
