We want to create a “bamboo technology base” in rural Cambodia and expand employment possibilities. NPO earth tree has started raising funds through crowdfunding!
*Earth, a NPO that provides education and employment support in Cambodia tree has started raising funds through crowdfunding to build a complex base called “Bamboo Base” that utilizes natural materials such as bamboo. *

15 years of involvement with Cambodia
In 2009, the CEO and his wife built a school in Cambodia with 180 travelers, and for the past 15 years, they have been facing Cambodia’s problems and employment issues and working towards solutions. Starting in 2021, Earth Tree will be a complex facility that uses sustainable eco-friendly materials and integrates a school, workshop, agriculture, accommodation facility, and playground.
We are building a village.

Start crowdfunding to create a “bamboo base”!
In order to prepare the soil to make full use of the skills they had cultivated and to spread this bamboo construction technology, we created a building called “Bamboo” next to the current earth tree village.

Bamboo base that circulates technology
Bamboo Base mainly conducts three businesses.
01 Bamboo Bank
We buy bamboo from people who want to sell it at a regular price, perform appropriate heat treatment, and sell it as a new valuable material.
02 Bamboo Architecture School
We will be holding a school to convey the knowledge and techniques of bamboo architecture that we have acquired so far.
03. Production and sales of bamboo products Manufacturing using bamboo skills It is possible to create more employment by producing and selling daily necessities that can be used on a daily basis.

Due to the civil war in Cambodia, many people are unable to read or write because they are not allowed to study.
They could not work in the cities and were forced to live in poverty. However, because of this, it had become normal for me to make whatever I could from what I had around me.
When I tried to create a job here, I started making things that took advantage of their strength, “the ability to make anything with natural materials.”
Why bamboo?
We believe that the use of natural materials is an effective means of solving environmental issues*
We believe that this is the case. By utilizing bamboo, we will communicate the positive possibilities of reducing greenhouse gases and changing the image of bamboo damage.
Circulation created by bamboo base
Create and operate a bamboo base to create employment and products that can be sold.
We can collect operating funds. The funds generated will be used to expand employment for women, provide better educational opportunities, and create opportunities for children and the younger generation. Since the time when the word “crowdfunding” didn’t exist, we have been building schools in Cambodia together with many people based on our belief that “a future where we can see smiling faces is better if we all work together!”
There’s a smile on your face even after making the “bamboo base”! With that belief in mind, we are conducting crowdfunding this time.
