MD-Farm Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as “MD-Farm”) is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Small and Medium Enterprise Innovation Creation Promotion Fund project on December 28, 2023.

The total amount adopted is approximately 930 million yen. Using this support, we will build a factory in Nanyo City, Yamagata Prefecture, and conduct the final integrated demonstration aimed at creating a new form of agriculture that combines AI and DX. With this factory, we will demonstrate the maximization of cultivation efficiency in a strawberry plant factory, and in addition to making a full-scale entry into the domestic strawberry market, we will also actively expand into overseas markets.
